DJ Khaled's highly anticipated "Major Key" album is dropping next month. Well it looks like we’re just days away from hearing & seeing DJ’s highly anticipated new single “I Got The Keys” featuring Jay Z & Future. On Friday night’s episode of We The Best Radio, Khaled announced that following the airing of this Sunday night’s BET Hip-Hop Awards will be the world premiere of his new video for “I Got The Keys,” featuring Jay Z & Future off his forthcoming Major Key album. Photos from the video set had already surfaced a couple weeks ago, and from the looks of it we’re in for a real treat. Cameos will include ASAP Ferg, Rick Ross, Busta Rhymes,T.I. Yo Gotti, Pusha T, Fabolous, Bryson Tiller, 2 Chainz, and more. Here’s what Khaled had to say about the upcoming video… "This video is powerful. It’s iconic. It’s amazing. First of all, Jay Z don’t shoot no videos. He barely shoots his own videos. It’s very rare that you see the icon Jay Z. Very rare." Producers On ScHoolboy Q's "Blank Face LP" Include Metro Boomin, Tyler The Creator, Alchemist & More

Here's a tentative list of the producers who have contributed to ScHoolboy Q's "Blank Face LP." They include Sounwave, Alchemist, Metro Boomin, Tyler, The Creator, and even Kendrick Lamar. The excitement surrounding ScHoolboy Q's upcoming album, the Blank Face LP, is steadily increasing with each day. Today, two weeks before the album's release, Q shared part 1 of a short film entitled "By Any Means." The clip also serves as the music video to the Blank Face LP track of the same name. Yesterday, Q shared the album's tracklist as well as its features. There's no Kendrick or Ab-Soul, but the impressive guest list includes names like Vince Staples, E-40, Tha Dogg Pound, and more. As the album has now been made available for pre-order, a KTT user was able to locate some of the names found in the composer credits for each individual track. The list isn't definitive just yet, but with a quick glance, one can see that Q has recruited the very best for the production side of his fourth album. The producers that appear most frequently are Tae Beast, Sounwave, Cardo, and Nez & Rio. Elsewhere, Metro Boomin and Southside team up for "Dope Dealer," which features E-40, and Tyler, The Creator reappears as a producer (after Oxymoron's "The Purge") for Tha Dogg Pound-featuring "Big Body." As of now, it's difficult to judge the extent of each artist's contributions, especially as Tupac is credited on "Str8 Ballin"; of course, that one is likely influenced by the Pac track of the same name. And though Kendrick wasn't listed as a featured artist, he is credited next to Cardo as a composer on "Overtime." Check out the updated tracklist, featuring a (likely incomplete) list of the Blank Face LP's producers, below. 1. TorcH (prod. by Nez & Rio) 2. Lord Have Mercy (prod. by Swizz Beatz) 3. THat Part (feat. Kanye West) (prod. by Cardo) 4. Groovy Tony / Eddie Kane (feat. Jadakiss) (prod. by Tae Beast & Dem Jointz) 5. Kno Ya Wrong (feat. Lance Skiiiwalker) (prod. by The Alchemist) 6. Ride Out (feat. Vince Staples) (prod. by Sounwave) 7. WHateva You Want (feat. Candice Pillay) (prod. by Tae Beast) 8. By Any Means (prod. by Cardo) 9. Dope Dealer (feat. E-40) (prod. by Metro Boomin & Southside) 10. JoHn Muir (prod. by Sounwave & Adrian Younge) 11. Big Body (feat. Tha Dogg Pound) (prod. by Tyler, The Creator) 12. Neva CHange (feat. SZA) (prod. by DJ Dahi) 13. Str8 Ballin (prod. by Nez & Rio) (*Tupac also credited) 14. Black THougHts (prod. by Willie B) 15. Blank Face (feat. Anderson .Paak) (prod. by Sounwave & T. Russell) 16. Overtime (feat. Miguel & Justine Skye) (prod. by Cardo & Kendrick Lamar) 17. Tookie Knows II (feat. Traffic & TF) (prod. by Nez & Rio)

The Plug & Z aka Zeus Interview

What kind of influences did you have growing up that helped shape your musical tastes? Well I was born in Nashville TN. We call it the ville and I was raised in Lebanon aka L town. A lot of days after school I would go to my grandma’s house off of stokes street between all the projects. I actually lived there and a road close called bluebird. During those times because I was close to my grandparents I was listening to a lot of blues, while my mom loved gospel! I was real open minded so I listened to anything that sounded good since my taste was already so blended at that point I had learned to find something I liked about all genre’s! So I like to think that’s why I’ve found my own sound because my influences come from music and not hip hop specifically. What do you think about the current state of hip hop? I think hip hop is in a good state there’s a lot of artist out their killing it and not only that but we had a hip hop artist break number 1# over artist like BeyoncĂ© & Adele so I think the people are perceptive to what’s happening in hip hop! Who would you say is the most influential person in your musical career? I wouldn’t necessarily say one person but my family and my team definitely, “With great power comes great responsibility” ya feel me so I got to make sure we all eating because their futures are dependent on it. What kind of experiences do you think help mold you into the artist you are today? Growing up with my friends, I can remember writing rhymes in high school because I was bored and loved writing. Me and my friends would go to parties turn up and create fun memories. Definitely going to church with my mom on Sundays and hearing the church sing songs, I always use to love that. What do you think is your best song from “Ordained”? I think every song on “Ordained” are definitely equally good but if I had to pick one of my favorites probably “Swish” Or “Powder”. The energy that I had when I was riding those waves were really raw and I was really feeling the outcome! What can we come to expect in the next 3 to 6 months? I’m actually preparing to drop another mixtape on all major , platforms the name I’m gonna keep that on lock for the moment but in my opinion it’s better with “Ordained” so I’m hoping people feel it! I got a video that’s about to drop here soon! We’ve been hearing a lot about the deals that OV has been signing in the recent months through other blog outlets and we want to know who you’ve signed with and their credentials? Well some of the deals I can’t talk about to much but one of the deals I’ve signed is with “Awesome 2”, they’ve worked with Diddy, Mary j Blige, Busta rhymes, and a lot of other major artist and BET named them #19 of the most influential artist so we definitely got some big things poppin over here!

Producer Detail Sues Drake For Alleged Assault By His Bodyguard

Producer Details is suing Drake over an alleged assault taking place back in 2014. It looks like Drake is the latest victim in a new lawsuit. According to TMZ, his former collaborator & producer Detail is suing the OVO leader for an alleged assault that reportedly took place back in 2014. Detail claims Drizzy offered him a deal to be his executive producer back in 2014 but declined because he didn’t want to be restricted to working with just one artist. With that said, Drake apparently didn’t take this rejection too kindly and allegedly set up his former producer to get jumped. Details says Drake invited him over to his crib in Calabasas to work on some new music sometime in June of 2014, and when he arrived around 2 AM, he was welcomed by Drake’s bodyguard Chubbs, who apparently greeted him with a sucker punch & broken jaw. During the alleged beat down, Detail says Chubbs was yelling… "I will beat all your asses, including your bitches. I don't give a fuck. I will hit you again. Do you think Drake is soft? You think Drake's a punk?" There’s no word yet on how much Detail is suing for but we can only presume it’s for a lot. We’ll continue to keep you posted on any more “details” moving forward.

Zaytoven And Future Are Sitting On "At Least 100 Songs"

Zaytoven and Future have been cooking. This summer could shape up to be a big one for Zaytoven. The prolific Atlanta beatmaker has been logging long hours with the recently-freed Gucci Mane. He and Future have been teasing Beast Mode 2 on Instagram, and in his new #BehindTheBeat interview with HNHH, he provided information that the long-awaited sequel mixtape may be near on the horizon. “Ever since [Beast Mode], we’ve recorded numerous times," Zay said. "Every time we go in the studio, we’re gonna do five, ten songs together. But we got, I know, at least 100 songs.” 100 songs! At least!! It's a massive figure, although not too surprising given Future's output over the course of the last two years. It supports Southside's assertion that Future is sitting on "six albums and three mixtapes" as of last November. Another fascinating tidbit from the interview: Zaytoven mentioned that he hadn't spoken to Future in three years prior to Beast Mode because Future spent so much time in Los Angeles. Future reached out during the first week of 2015 and they made the tape in 10 days.

Big Sean Donates $25,000 To Wayne State University Homelessness Program

Big Sean donates $25,000 toward an initiative to end homelessness at Wayne State University. As he's settled into superstardom, Big Sean has made a constant effort to give back to his hometown of Detroit. Last year, he founded his Detroit-based nonprofit, the Sean Anderson Foundation, designed to help the disadvantaged youth of his city with initiatives in the realms of education, healthcare, and the arts. Through his foundation, he was recently able to donate a sum of $25,000 to Wayne State University, located in the Midtown district, for its Helping Individuals Go Higher (HIGH) program, which is devoted to eliminating college student homelessness. According to his foundation's website, Sean's donation will "provide short-term support to Wayne State students experiencing homelessness or precarious housing situations." "With this gift, we will be able to help Wayne State students who are experiencing homelessness work toward a better future," said HIGH founder Jacqueline Wilson. Sean's contribution to Wayne State is not the only recent charitable work that has earned him attention. He donated $82,000 during the height of the crisis in Flint in order to help children who had been poisoned by the city's water supply, and last year, he teamed with adidas Originals to build a recording studio at Cass Technical High School, his alma mater.

Rihanna Takes Jab At Steph Curry Following Game 7

Rihanna throws salt in the Warriors' wounds. Stephen Curry and the Warriors were hearing it from everyone last night after failing to close out the series on their home court, and allowing the Cavs to recover from a 3-1 series deficit. Even Rihanna was trolling the league MVP, taking numerous jabs at Curry via instagram while lauding LeBron's greatness. Steph was not himself throughout the entire series and he came up small in the crucial Game 7, scoring just 17 points on 6/19 shooting and turning the ball over four times. On the other hand, LeBron was an absolute beast, capping off a remarkable NBA Finals run with a 27 point, 11 assists, 11 rebounds triple double, including three blocks- one of which came against Steph, again. Following the Warriors loss, Rihanna was there to throw salt in the Curry family's wounds. Also, Savannah James better watch her mans.

Stephen Curry Gets Ejected In Game 6, Wife Says The Game Was Rigged For Money

Steph loses his cool in Game 6. There will be a Game 7 of the NBA Finals Sunday night in Oakland. LeBron James picked up right where he left off in Game 5, dominating the game from start to finish and leading the Cavs to a 115-103 Game 6 victory. LBJ had 41 points, 11 assists, eight rebounds, four steals and three blocks- one of which came at the expense of the NBA's MVP. Curry was plagued by foul trouble all night and when he finally picked up his sixth he blew a gasket, throwing his mouth guard into the crowd, drilling a fan in the face with it, and getting himself ejected from the game. That figures to cost him $25,000, although he did apologize to the fan before exiting the floor. (And if that fan's smart he'll pick up that mouth guard and put that thing on the auction block.) Curry's wife, Ayesha, was just as furious when her man fouled out and she also didn't hold back. Immediately after Steph was sent to the showers, Ayesha tweeted that the game was rigged for money, or ratings, and that she "won't be silent." Of course, she would later delete the tweet but not before someone could screen grab it. A lot of Curry's fouls were definitely suspect, and after the game Steve Kerr stood up for his guy, saying, "Yeah, I'm glad he threw his mouth piece, he should be upset." He also added, "You're going to call these ticky-tack fouls on the league MVP I don't agree with that." He will also be hearing from the league about that. Again, Game 7, 9pm on ABC.

Metta World Peace Is Allegedly Good Friends With The Guy Who Started The "Malice At The Palace"

Say what? On yesterday's taping of ESPN's "The Jump," Rachel Nichols welcomed two special guests who were both present for the infamous "Malice At The Palace." Rasheed Wallace and Stephen Jackson, who are now friendly enough to sit next to each other without trading jabs, joined the show to talk about a number of topics, including that wild night in Detroit. As it turns out, according to Captain Jack, Metta World Peace eventually patched things up with the dude who threw the cup which sparked the brawl, John Green. In fact, Jackson said they keep in touch and "speak daily." Nothing that Metta World Peace does should come as a shock to anyone but hearing that he frequently chats with the guy who incited the "Malice At The Palace" is some bizarro world stuff, even for Ron Ron.

Vince Staples Finances Long Beach Youth Arts Program

Vince Staples gives back to his community. Vince Staples mentioned Long Beach's Ramona Park approximately 80 times on his debut album Summertime '06 and even allotted the park two of its own tracks: "Ramona Park Legend Pt. 1" and "Ramona Park Legend Pt. 2." "The sun come down and guns come out, you know Ramona Park." Yesterday, Staples spoke at a press conference at Ramona Park to announce a new youth YMCA program called the Youth Institute, an initiative that combined the efforts of local officials and Staples financial support (he contributed an undisclosed amount). According to the Long Beach Press-Telegram, the program will help 20 eighth and ninth graders learn filmmaking, graphic design, music production, 3D printing, and product design. “I want to be able to be one of the people that reinforces the fact that we matter just as much as the next person,” Staples told the Press-Telegram. “That’s actually the biggest thing I can do for this community.” “I think the most important thing is opportunities,” he continued. “What I can say is, living over here my entire life, I’ve never had an opportunity given to me from the area, only examples of how to mess up, and what I didn’t want to do.” He later expanded on these comments on Twitter before deleting the tweet: "Work hard to do something for kids so they have something other to do other kill each other this summer and y'all got Spike Lee jokes.. Lol."

Kanye West Updates “The Life Of Pablo” With The Addition Of “Saint Pablo”

Kanye West adds "Saint Pablo" to the tracklisting of "The Life Of Pablo." Kanye West continues to alter & change the tracklisting for his latest album The Life Of Pablo. On Tuesday night, the Chicago legend decided to add his latest release, “Saint Pablo,” as the outro on The Life Of Pablo, making the album complete with 20-songs at the moment. The track, which is co-produced by Mike Dean and features vocals from Sampha, is based on the same sample from Jay Z’s “Where I’m From” from 1997. It was originally presumed that the song would see life on Kanye’s next album Turbo Grafx 16, but that's clearly not the case after 'Ye took down the album off streaming services for a couple hours Tuesday night and re-added the updated tracklist like it was nothing. For what it’s worth, this updated tracklist just so happens to surface on the same day Kanye announced his nationwide tour in its support as well

Jim Jones Thinks Max B Could've Been As Successful As Drake

Despite their past beef, Jim Jones admits that Max B could've been as big as Drake had he not gotten locked-up. In 2005, Jim Jones signed fellow Harlemite Max B to his ByrdGang record label. The deal would only last for about two years, and the two rappers had been clashing heads at the time of Max's ByrdGang departure in 2008. It became an official beef soon afterwards, especially as Max joined forces with Coke Boy French Montana, whom also had a disdain for Jones. The beef would proliferate until 2009, when Max was sent to prison, where he still remains today. In a clip taken from a new interview with Rap Radar, Jones was asked if there is still any bad blood between him and Biggavelli, and he responded by saying that he's not the type to speak down upon an incarcerated man. "That's a chapter in my life that's been gone," he said. "I don't even think about it no more." Jones went on to explain that he didn't have anything to do with Max's imprisonment. In fact, "I put a lot of money in that boy's pockets," he said. Whether or not he harbors any ill feelings toward the rapper known as The Wavy One, he clearly recognized his talent. Jones went as far to say that Max "had the chance to be big as Drake right now." "A lot of these artists right now that are singing and being very melodic," said Jones. "A lot of that came from that boy's whole catalog." He also pointed out that Wiz Khalifa has been influenced by many elements of Max's wavy style; "Wiz Khalifa'll tell you right now that he studied his music word for word," said Jones. Max B is currently serving a 75-year sentence in a New Jersey prison.

Tory Lanez gives us the green light to announce the title to his long awaited debut album! Tory Lanez has been having quite the run for himself over the past year or so, signing a new deal with Interscope Records, going on multiple nationwide tours, and releasing two smash singles in the process including “Say It” & “LA Confidential.” Oh, let’s not forget he dropped TWO mixtapes on Christmas & has been on the mind (& mouth) of the biggest rapper in the game, Drake, as well. However, all of that was just in preparation for something arguably much bigger & better…his long awaited debut album, which we are happy to exclusively announce to you will be called ...I Told You. Set to drop sometime this Summer, I Told You will contain the newly-premiered single "Luv," along with the chart-topping single “Say It."
