Jerry Heller Sues Dr. Dre, Ice Cube & "Straight Outta Compton" For $110 Million
Jerry Heller is suing everybody involved in "Straight Outta Compton" for a huge sum.
Jerry Heller, the former manager of N.W.A., is suing all those involved in the group's recent biopic, Straight Outta Compton, for (at least) $110 million, reports TMZ. Heller, now 75, has just filed a lawsuit against Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, the estate of Eazy-E, NBC Universal, and others for defamation and using his likeness in their film without his permission.
Heller claims that Straight Outta Compton wrongly portrayed him as "a sleazy manager who took advantage of Eazy-E, Dr. Dre, and Ice Cube." He said that the movie lied about numerous different scenarios involving him, including him withholding a $75,000 check from Ice Cube, persuading Dre and Cube to sign misleading contracts, and getting fired by Eazy-E.
The lawsuit also accuses the film's producers of incorporating pivotal scenes from Heller's memoir, "Ruthless," into the film without permission.
Heller wants $35 million in compensatory damages, $75 million in punitive damages, and then the rightful amount of the film's profits, which he and his lawyers believe will bring the total sum to at least $110 million.
As of late September, Straight Outta Compton had grossed almost $190 million.

Chief Keef To Drop Collaborative Mixtape With Sonny Digital?
According to Chief Keef's Instagram, Sosa & Sonny Digital are teaming up for the "Back From The Dead 3" mixtape.
It looks like Chief Keef has more “treats” for his fans come this Halloween season. Earlier in the week, Sosa announced that he has a new project with Metro Boomin dropping on Halloween called Peacocks, Peacoats, Flavor, & Paper, but apparently that’s not all he’s got for us.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday night, Sosa unveiled the artwork to his third installment in Back From The Dead mixtape series, along with caption “produced by Sonny Digital.” No word yet as for when this joint effort will drop, but seeing how Back From The Dead 2 dropped last Halloween, I wouldn’t be surprised if both projects ended up dropping on Saturday, aka Halloween.
Rihanna Signs $25 Million Deal With Samsung
Rihanna inks a $25 million deal with Samsung to sponsor her upcoming album.
As if you needed further proof that Rihanna is killing it on all cylinders, the unstoppable femme fatale has just signed a $25 million deal with Samsung, reports New York Post. For those keeping track, that's $6 M's more than Drake's rumored deal with Apple Music.
Rihanna and Samsung have apparently been working on the deal for 7 months. The deal will reportedly sponsor Rihanna's upcoming album, Anti, as well as the tour that follows. Samsung, in turn, is looking for Rihanna to help promote the company's new line of Galaxy products as well as its new music streaming service, Milk Music, which will presumably gain some sort of exclusivity to the music off Anti.
Rihanna is currently signed to the management wing of Roc Nation, and reports say that Jay Z was instrumental in helping work out RiRi's new deal with Samsung. There seems to be a conflict of interest between TIDAL and Milk Music -- with regard to each platform's access to Anti, but Jay Z and Samsung have worked extensively in the past.
The disclosure of Rihanna's deal comes at the same time as a rumored deal between Apple Music and Adele for an even bigger amount -- $30 million for her upcoming album. If this is all true, congrats to both women. Rihanna wasn't lying with "Bitch Better Have My Money."
DMX Arrested Again This Week; Judge Cuts Him A Break
DMX was arrested, then later released, for failing to pay child support to another woman-- ex-wife Tashera Simmons.
A month after being released from prison and DMX has already encountered his first run in with the law. On Tuesday morning, X got arrested at his home in Westchester County, New York on a contempt of court charge for allegedly failing to pay $10,000 a month in child support to his ex-wife Tashera Simmons.
According to TMZ, X appeared in court on Tuesday afternoon and begged the judge to let him out of jail because he’d be losing the opportunity to make money from scheduled shows, which ultimately would create a bad rep for his name. The judge apparently had mercy for the former Ruff Ryder and released him without bail.
He'll have to be back in court on November 18 to work out child support issues with his ex- Tashera, but for now lets consider this a win for X.
If you forgot, DMX just spent two months in a Buffalo jail for not paying child support to another woman. He was released just last month and has been in the studio working on new music ever since. Hopefully he stays out of trouble for us to hear it however.

Future Shuts Down Blac Chyna Dating Rumors
Despite Blac Chyna's new tattoo, Future maintains that he's single.
Hopefully Blac Chyna got that tattoo just to pay tribute to her favorite rapper, because according to Future the two are not dating.
"Single & focusing on what makes me happy," Future wrote on Twitter today, following it up with a quote from his own song "Though It Was A Drought" (coincidentally the very one Chyna referenced in her Instagram post) "U kno I dnt fuck wit no rumors..."
In case you're not up to date, Chyna and Future dating rumors have been circulating over the last few weeks, and Chyna seemed to confirm things when she debuted a "FUTURE" hand tattoo this weekend.
This is all very confusing, and we're sure we haven't heard the end of it just yet. Think Chyna is regretting that tattoo now? Or did it mean something else entirely?

Master P's Estranged Wife Files Lawsuit Against Their Son Romeo
She blames Master P, not Romeo, whom she describes as an "unwitting pawn."
With millions of dollars at stake, Master P's divorce battle with his estranged wife Sonya Miller rages fiercely on ward with no end in sight. Now court documents obtained by TMZ reveal that Sonya is suing her son Romeo, claiming that P is using Romeo to keep her from getting the money she deserves.
In 2010 Master P started No Limit Forever. According to Sonya, it functions the same as No Limit Records, and P named Romeo the co-founder and co-owner instead of her in order to prevent her from gaining access to the company's profits.
She also claims that Master P prevented her from getting paid for her role upcoming Reelz reality show "Master P's Family Empire" by putting Romeo on the payroll documents. She blames P for all this, and considers Romeo an "unwitting pawn."
"Master P's Family Empire" premieres November 28th.
Meek Mill Disses Wale On Instagram: "You Not MMG No More!"
Meek Mill has attacked Wale following his appearance on the Breakfast Club.
Meek Mill is still getting over his beef with Drake, but it isn't stopping him from going at Wale in a very similar fashion today.
Taking to Instagram, Meek attacked Wale for comments he made on the Breakfast Club this morning, where he discussed Meek's beef with Drake as well as his own struggles with depression. In the conversation he criticized Meek's approach to the beef in a fairly level-headed way, saying "he brought a pencil to a gunfight," and suggesting that fans would take Drake's side no matter what Meek's response was.
Meek accused Wale of gossiping to promote his new music, as well as saying he's no longer a part of MMG. Later on, he claims that Wale was attempting to call him because he thought Ross owed them both money. He also takes plenty of shots about Wale's depression throughout.
Read the full post below. Knowing Wale, he won't be able to resist replying.
Update: Wale has responded, joking about Meek's request for him to jump off a roof on Twitter. He's also listed the other people he spoke about while on the radio show, probably as an effort to prove it wasn't all about Meek.

Scarface Releases Statement Regarding BET Hip Hop Awards Arrest
Scarface has cleared up reports on his arrest at the BET Hip Hop Awards earlier this month.
You may have heard that Scarface was arrested earlier this month after an appearance at the BET Awards, but the Texas rapper wants to make sure you got the full story.
Face received the I Am Legend achievement award at the ceremony, only to be taken into custody when he entered the backstage area. The initial report stated that Scarface was arrested for unpaid child support, and was not permitted to leave the state of Texas. A new statement from the rapper does not deny that, but does call into question reports of numbers and the assumption that he was aware of the arrest warrant. He also reveals that the matter has been taken care of.
Read his statement released to the press below.
First and foremost I would like to thank my supporters for their concern during my recent arrest in Atlanta. While we have resolved the issue I would like to correct some misinformation. The amount reported that was owed is inaccurate and I had no knowledge about there being an arrest order for me as I have traveled to Atlanta many times; with the latest trip being in September to perform at the One Music Festival. Due to the nature of the case (having a minor child involved), I will make no further comment at this time.

First Week Sales For The Game's “Documentary 2” Are In
The Game’s “Documentary 2” fell just short of the #1 album this week, but it did very well nonetheless.
As the early projections told us last week, The Game’s highly anticipated Documentary 2 album fell just short of the #1 spot this week thanks to Selena Gomez’ Revival, but that's saying a lot.
HitsDailyDouble reports that The Game’s Documentary 2 album sold 81,614 copies in the first week (94,529 including streams), meanwhile Selena’s top-earning album moved 86,264 units in the opening week (117,374 including streams). In comparison though, The Game’s previous album, Blood Moon: Year of The Wolf, sold only 33k in the opening week, meaning he gained an increase of nearly 50k in sales this time around which is pretty damn good.

Ludacris To Executive Produce New CBS Drama About Atlanta Gangs
The show is called "The Down Beat."
Ludacris is no stranger to the world of television and film, having appeared in the "Fast and Furious" franchise, "Crash," and most recently, on "Empire." He will pull from his experience as he executive produces a new CBS drama called "The Down Beat."
According to Variety, Ludacris will co-executive produce the show with Ryan Seacrest and Nina Wass. Developed by Paul Downs Colaizzo, "The Down Beat" is set in Atlanta and follows a former businessman as he attempts to give young men an alternative outlet to gang life by way of the local high school marching band.
No word yet on when the show will premiere. Think you'll be tuning in?
Lil Wayne Erroneously Tweets "R.I.P." Lamar Odom
Lil Wayne tweets out an "R.I.P." to Lamar Odom, before realizing his mistake.
As you're probably aware by now, Lamar Odom was found unconscious at a brothel in Las Vegas, and quickly transported to the hospital where he remains in critical condition.
The details surrounding his current condition remain unclear, however the brothel owner, Dennis Hof said, "When they took him to the Pahrump hospital, the people there told us, 'He doesn't look good. He doesn't look like he'll make it, and if he does, he won't be the same.'"
As for the events that led up to Odom's unconscious disposition, Hof said that Odom had called him on Saturday to spend a few days at the brothel. He stayed at Hof's home, attached to the brothel. Apparently things were going smoothly until Sunday, when people started "calling and bothering him."
"Two women at the brothel went to check on Odom and found him unconscious," Hof continued. "They immediately call 911, and dispatch tells the girls to roll him over on his left side and (he) starts to puke. He was totally unconscious. The girls and staff rush him out on the ambulance. The police didn't find any illegal drugs on him."
Lamar Odom hasn't passed away, although reports are saying he has a 50/50 chance of survival, and many of his organs are failing. Thus, it seems Lil Wayne pre-emptively posted a 'rest in peace' tweet for Lamar Odom, before realizing his mistake, and tweeting out "Woop." Although the tweet is inaccurate, he hasn't deleted it.
Jay Z & Timbaland Testify In Court For “Big Pimpin” Trial
Jay Z & Timbaland showed up to court on Tuesday & Wednesday to testify in their "Big Pimpin" trial.
Jay Z & long time collaborator, Timbaland, showed up to an L.A. court room on Tuesday & Wednesday to testify in a trial surrounding copyright infringement over their 1999 hit collab “Big Pimpin’.” The two are being sued by the heirs of Baligh Hamdi, an Egyptian composer who created the 1957 song “Khosara Khosa.”
According to the Associated Press, Jay Z spent 90 minutes answering a series of questions and recounting his life, successes, and the creative process that led him and Timbaland to create “Big Pimpin’.” To prove his point, Jay brought out physical copies of his 1999 album Vol. 3… Life and Times of S. Carter to show the juror the liner notes that credit "Khosara Khosara." “We have the rights as you can see on the bottom of the CD,” Hov told jurors.
Later, the Roc Nation mogul went on to explain that he thought the rights to “Khosara Khosara” had been properly negotiated after issues were raised following the release of “Big Pimpin’.” According to their lawyers, Hamdi’s family had been repeatedly paid for the use of “Khosara Khosara,” the song in which four of its 74 notes are repeated throughout “Big Pimpin’,” an Egyptian music expert claimed in court.

50 Cent Announces New Music Off "Kanan" Mixtape
50 Cent teases fans about a "Kanan" mixtape.
At the end of September, 50 Cent announced that a new mixtape would precede the long-awaited and almost mythological Street King Immortal album. He made the announcement by previewing new music, however he didn't reveal the mixtape title.
It looks like the title was just revealed this morning on Fif's Instagram, where he poked fun at himself with dollar bills laid out to spell the word 'BROKE.' He captioned the photo, "Man this lunch money,I gotta go to work I'm still up, no Sleep at all. NEW MUSIC this week,Off The KANAN tape."
Kanan would be a reference to the menacing character that 50 plays in his Starz TV show "Power." He'd definitely be a gangster ass character to base a mixtape around, and hopefully that incites Fif to go hard too.
Lamar Odom Found Unconscious At A Love Ranch In Nevada
Lamar Odom is reportedly being airlifted from a Nevada hospital to Las Vegas to receive more treatment after he was found unconscious at Dennis Hof's Love Ranch in Pahrump, Nevada.
The former Clippers and Lakers forward allegedly arrived at the ranch on Saturday and had been partying with the girls for days. According to TMZ, a source also claims he was taking an herbal substitute for Viagra throughout is stay.
Late this afternoon one of the girls went to his room in the VIP suites and found him unconscious and called for a manager who rolled L.O on his side and saw a "mucus-type liquid coming out of his nose and mouth."
Lamar was rushed to Pahrump Hospital where he was intubated- which means he could not breathe on his own- and then airlifted to Las Vegas for more treatment.
Sadly, none of his friends or family are currently with him in the hospital at this time.

Future Buys Drake Diamond-Encrusted FBGOVO Ring
Future got Drake (and himself) a really big ring.
Diamonds were a major theme of Drake and Future's recent joint album, What a Time to Be Alive. Diamonds adorned the Shutterstock cover art and were the subject of the tape's second biggest hit (currently at No. 53). Well, in that case, diamonds may have been a metaphor for dancers at the Diamonds of ATL strip club, but regardless, the two rappers clearly bonded over the sparkling stones, and as a tribute to the album's success, Future has given Drake a FBGOVO ring full of blinging rocks.
Rich The Kid & ILoveMakonnen To Release "Whip It Up" Mixtape

Lil Wayne's Ex Karrine Steffans Blasts Him For His Sex Tape Performance
Lil Wayne's former girlfriend, Karrine Steffans, goes on a lengthy Twitter rant after seeing his sex tape.
In case you hadn't heard, there's apparently a Lil Wayne sex tape currently making its rounds on the interwebs. The video reportedly shows Wayne having an unprotected threesome with two strippers. Wayne has yet to speak on the tape, but one of his past lovers, Karrine Steffans, has. And what she had to say will likely bruise Wayne's ego. Or maybe not; maybe it's all for attention -- decide for yourself.
Steffans is a New York Times best-selling author as well as a past star of many famous rap videos. She also had a past relationship with Lil Wayne, and in an interview with VladTV from this past April, she described Weezy as the love of her life. Upon seeing Wayne's new sex tape, though, she didn't treat him as such. Steffans live tweeted her experience watching the tape, and she was not impressed with Wayne's performance. After revealing her displeasure, she proceeded to tweet at Drake. Ouch.

Young Thug Maintains That He & Lil Wayne Have No Problems
Young Thug says he has nothing but admiration for Lil Wayne.
Young Thug is the subject of Jon Caramanica's New York Times profile, and as usual, he is a man of few words. While it only contains three or four short quotes from the rapper, the piece illustrates Young Thug's daily routine and the genius of his writing process quite well, and when he does get to talking, he's not afraid to answer the hard questions.
The standout quote from the interview comes when the Lil Wayne bus shooting in Atlanta -- an incident which Thug's name has been loosely attached to -- is brought up.
“I got millions to get, I’m not running around shooting no damn bus,” he said, once again enforcing that he and Wayne are not beefing in any way. “I’m not just being lame or trying to do something smooth. I told the whole world you my idol, and whenever you stop I’m gonna keep going... Both of us grew up the same thing, the same gang man — Y.M.C.M.B. Why should you ever in your life even feel like we against each other?
The last we heard from Wayne, he had similar feelings about the "feud". Can we now finally put things to rest?

Iggy Azalea Announces Sophomore Album Title
Iggy Azalea reveals the title to her upcoming sophomore album.
After scrapping 6-months of work to start over from scratch, Iggy Azalea is finally ready to make her comeback in to the public eye and share the follow up to her debut album The New Classic.
On Tuesday night, Iggy was interacting with fans on twitter when she revealed some important info about her sophomore album, including its now-announced title Digital Distortion. She also said that fans can expect to hear the first single sometime this month.
While we still don’t have a release date for the album, Iggy did announce last week that the project was being entirely produced by the production collective D.R.U.G.S., which consists of producers Ty Dolla $ign, DJ Dahi, Fuego, Buddah, James Koo, Nate 3D, and more. Iggy reportedly just shot the cover for the album on Tuesday as well.
Curren$y & Dame Dash Settle $3 Million Dollar Lawsuit
Curren$y & Dame Dash have settled their $3 million dollar legal battle out of court.
It looks like Currensy & Dame Dash’s on-going legal battle has finally come to an end. According to The Jasmine Brand, the two have finally settled their $3 million dollar lawsuit out of court for an undisclosed amount.
To bring you up to speed, back in 2012 Currensy filed a lawsuit against Dame Dash for releasing two of his projects, Pilot Talk & Pilot Talk II, without his permission after their business deal didn’t work out together and he was with Warner Bros. Music. Spitta claims Dash didn’t have the rights to his music nor gave him his permission, meanwhile Dash says the opposite and says he did have permission.
So with Dame releasing that music, Currensy claimed that his deal with Warner Bros. was negatively impacted and that he wanted $1.5 million in damages. With Dame refusing to pay up, Currensy again took the former Roc-A-Fella boss to court in 2014, where this time he asked for $2.9 million in damages and $95,000 for lawyer’s fees.
Jay Z & Beyoncé Are Renting A Mansion In L.A. For $150k A Month
Jay Z and Beyoncé have picked out a pretty amazing home to rent in Holmby Hills.
It's no secret that Jay Z and Beyoncé have a whole lot of money to their names, but right now, they're still looking to rent rather than own, at least when it comes to living in L.A.
The couple just did the paperwork for a $45 million space in Holmby Hills, but rather than dropping 8 figures on a home, they're going with a more reasonable 6-figure rent. Hove and Bey will pay $150k per month for the 20,000 square foot mansion, which they've signed a one-year lease for. It's a pretty smart decision if the two are looking to move around a lot over the next few years without being tied to properties, and if you're Jay Z and Beyoncé, why wouldn't you?

Rick Ross Announces New Album Title
Rick Ross reveals the title of his new album is "Black Market." defendant
Rick Ross was on The Breakfast Club on Power 105.1 this morning, where he not only premiered his new single "Sorry," he revealed the title of the album it's attached too.
Rozay actually delivered a more candid interview than usual, he tends to dance around questions and not truly answer them, but during the 27-minute Breakfast Club interview he actually does deliver some useful answers. He also brought his fiancee, Lira Galore (or Lira Mercer) along, and the two even displayed some PDA with Lira sitting on Rozay's lap and Rozay busting a smile (!).
During the interview, Ross addresses how he was sued for rape recently, despite not being named as a defendant or being involved. He also spoke on the Meek Mill/Drake beef ("it's good for the culture"), and whether or not the two would ever collaborate again. From Rozay's perspective the beef was light work (unlike Ross' own beef with 50 Cent). Towards the end of the interview, Ross speaks on the impact of his Black Dollar mixtape, and reveals the title of his new album-- Black Market. He really doesn't any specifics about the album apart from the title, and the fact that it'll be in stores in December.
"You know, we don't really experiment a lot, ya dig," Ross says as he led up to the album title. "But we do is build on what we got and take it to the next level. And I think that's what this project is a lot about-- you know just touching the streets with Black Dollar and introducing them to the new album, which is titled Black Market."

Drake Brought Future Out To Perform "WATTBA" Tracks At Austin City Limits
Drake and Future did a selection of new songs in Austin Saturday night.
Just before dropping their joint project, Future brought Drake out during his set in Toronto, and last night at Austin City Limits, Drizzy returned the favor. As a result, we got to see some What A Time To Be Alive songs performed for the first time live, as the two rappers ran through "Big Rings," "Digital Dash," "Jumpman," and more.
The Austin crowd was definitely feeling the new material, and seeing a couple clips from the show, the songs work well in a live setting, though next time we hope they break out "Diamonds Dancing".
Last night we also got to hear a more complete version on Drizzy's leaked Beyonce collaboration, "Can I". It's still rumored that Drake will be releasing his fourth studio album, Views From The Six, before the year's end, but we'll believe it when we see it.
Amber Rose Forgives Kanye West & Wiz Khalifa In Emotional Speech At L.A. SlutWalk
Amber Rose spoke on the slut-shaming she's endured from Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa at her SlutWalk event Saturday.
Amber Rose has been promoting her L.A. SlutWalk -- a charity event meant to protest, slut-shaming, rape culture, double standards and the like -- for months now, and Saturday, the event finally took place. From what we've seen it looks like the rally was a huge success, with women coming out in huge numbers to show support for the cause.
One topic that continued to show up on picket signs was Kanye's Breakfast Club remark about Rose, where he joked that he had to take "30 showers" after the two ended their relationship.
When Rose got the mic at her event, she decided to address the slut-shaming she's faced from her former boyfriends, mentioning both West's comment and Wiz Khalifa's verse on Juicy J's "For Everybody," where he reduced Rose to "just a stripper".
"[Wiz] came out with that song, and that really hurt me. All I did was ever love him... and gave him a beautiful son. To be told that I was nothing but a stripper -- it hurt."
Surprisingly, Rose also took the opportunity to forgive both men for their comments, choosing to focus on fighting bigger battles instead.
"I want to forgive Kanye for what he said about me," she announced. "I want to let all that negativity go. I also forgive Wiz for what he said. Wiz actually apologized to me already. So I have forgiven him. I suggest that you guys do the same and I'll tell you why -- people are ignorant and you have to be the bigger person and be the positive person to forgive and move on and help other people around you who have been through the same thing."
